7+ Lag Stevner

Stevne is a Norwegian word that refers to a convention, reunion, or gathering. Since 1987, Telelag has partnered with Hadeland Lag, Landingslaget, Numedalslag, Ringerike-Drammen Districts Lag, Sigdalslag, and Toten Lag to sponsor a summer get-together  in changing locations throughout the Upper Midwest. In 2019, Agder Lag joined the group. There will be a name change to 7+ Lag Stevne for the stevne in 2021 that reflects the participation of all 8 lags.

 Under the umbrella of Norwegian Stevner, Inc., the 8 participating lags offer an opportunity for members to come together and make use of each lag's extensive genealogical resources, tour local points of interest and historical importance, attend classes, and enjoy ethnic entertainment...It's a great way to celebrate your heritage!  Make plans to join us at the stevne!
