The National Archives of Norway sponsors the
"Digitalarkivet," which is a free collection of civil and church records from
all over Norway. A work in progress, new transcriptions are constantly
being added. In addition to searchable databases, a section devoted to
images of original church records is also available. If you are
researching your Norwegian ancestors, there is no better source than Norway's
Digitalarkivet! |
