Additional Information:
Torbjorn and Sigrid apparently were married in US. No record of
date/ship of Torbjorn’s emigration, but SiGrid Felland and her mother,
Else Vetlesdtr Upistog Felland – my 3rd great – grandmother –
are listed on the manifest for the brig Washington
|
|
Which departed Porsgrunn for New York in May of 1846. Else was also
born in Mo (19 July 1789) and lived and died in Dane County, WI in 1878.
|

As a young boy in 1955, I met Felland relatives at their farm outside
of Madison, WI.
