Additional Information: Harold participated in
Telelag
a a “newcomer”, and in the
1970’s was instrumental in the Telelag’s
revival. He learned Telespringar, a regional dance, in Norway and continued to perform in order to
share this tradition with
U.S.
audiences. He championed hardanger fiddle music and dance at
Telelag
meetings. He was a charter member
of the Hardanger Fiddle Association of America. He was also a master wood working
craftsman and his work can be found in homes in the Twin Cities area.
