Additional Information: 

 

Asloug and her husband joined her brothers Gunnulv and Halvor Kjetilsen at Ridgeway.  Her father was Kjetil Kjetil Gjøystdal, later moving to Tveito after marrying Gunnulv’s mother Aagot Gunnulvsdatter Tveito.  The parents lost Tveito and moved to Såhaim.  Asloug first went off to near Drammen and had a son Kjetil.  He was Kjetil Tovsen Bømogen and was known as Charlie Thompson in America.  He died in the American Civil War in the 15th Wisconsin Regiment, the “Norwegian Regiment  Later she married Herbjorn.  Herbjorn called himself Herman and had two brothers at Harmony, MN named Gunnulv Johnson Qvale and John Johnson Krosso.  Herman and Asloug moved to Minnehaha County, SD in 1878.
